18/02/24 International Ikari Plus and NextBox updates

Some updates, mainly to loading screen management and fixed aiming. See projects page for details and download link

04/02/24 International Ikari Plus and NextBox

Ok, so very excited about the ZX Spectrum Next. We want to produce a Wally type game, and create an inhouse game engine (NextBox) to provide the tools needed. While simultaniously developing NextBox we are also creating a free 4 way scrolling version of Ikari Warriors - International Ikari Plus. See GetIt to download an alpha demo directly to the Next, or see our projects page for a download link

01/01/23 Apocalypse Fading

We were working on a point and click game. However due to a long illness and work commitments we are shelving indefinitely. Watch this space. Slowly as usual

19/08/20 Eyetapps

Right so I really broke the record here. Essentially forget everything below, unless I manage to make a massive retro comback. Doubtful though. Currently frozen the War Engines co-project with Chris, got the Eyetapps website up and running after many years of being dormant, and am working on Cam Wars and Story Matrix. Slow progress, but hopefully not 12 years next time!

21/07/08 Daibotron

So, once again, it's been a while. This time I have made a demo of a game called Daibotron. Daibotron. It is a Robotron styled game controlled by the webcam. Hope you like it. I'm freezing it for a bit to work on something more interesting. Watch this space!...

03/03/07 TWAD

Ok, so I'm now in Cyprus! Whoop. Lovely weather and pretty much settled in. Quiet on the game front, but check out this beta I made for creating wallpaper for the Tvix range of machines. It is called TWAD (beta 0.35.1)

19/11/06 Is there anybody in there?....

Ah.... Yes.... Erm... Well, I guess this is actually the record. Yes I'm still here and only 3 years has gone past! Whoop! On the upside I am moving to Cyprus at the end of the week and have finally got this site on a decent server. On the downside I have done pretty much nothing with game development. As always, static fans, watch this space!

19/10/03 -- Groan....

Hmmm... I think I may have broken the record this time. Yep, I still own the URL. Sigh... Essentially it's been a while since I managed to get my head out of the ground, for one reason or another... Things will change though, but will be a little different. For one thing I am looking at the GBA now (wait for it), and everything else will be shelved. Shame, cos Daiblazer was almost there. But I haven't touched it in over a year now... things will change soonish... promise? :D Well, see you in a year at least... or maybe less.... you never know... perhaps... erm...

18/08/01 -- When I said regular updates....

Sigh. So much for constant updates. What with work getting more intensive again, and my parents visiting for a while, and because it's summer, I'm totally lazing about. Heh, but just getting a second (or third, not sure) wind now again. The Daiblazer demo is so close it hurts, just need to rough away some of the edges. Also must stop thinking of other projects I would like to do, but next time I will post demos pretty much through it's entire lifecycle. The other people here are also being seriously quiet, but hopefully with rubbish weather to come, things might start changing. Cross your fingers for an update soon...

07/07/01 -- Awake again...

Grief, so much for regular updates. Sorry about that. Been a bit busy... well, ok, and completely lazy too. But no problems. Dai Blazer 0.8 Alpha demo was all ready to ship, when DB 1.09 was released. Totally stuffed me up really. Still, have got most of the problems out, and it's looking good. Still have a problem with textures, but I'm waiting on the 1.09 patch. So basically a demo should be here in the next few weeks. Because I have made loads of changes since 0.8 then it will probably be 1.0 Beta. In other words, pretty much all there. Heh, it won't be september before I update this again, trust me. Oh yeah, and there are some new screenshots for Dai Blazer 0.8A.

19/05/01 -- Base changes

Phew, I am just so lazy!!!!! At last I have updated the site to be a bit nicer. Also moved most of the pages to my NTL website so I can update easier with my Cable modem (otherwise have to use normal modem to connect to my FTP site for ISP that hosts dai-dare.com, don't think NTL does this). So should be updating this site a lot more often from now on! Also uploaded some pictures of Extreme Dailence that I got off Dean the other day. Hopefully a demo soon. Dai Blazer is very close for demo.

01/04/01 -- New screenshots

Aha, here we are, some new screenshots of Daiblazer. I have been totally dead to the world for a while but now I have woken up again and Daiblazer has got me going again. Check out the projects page for details

31/03/01 -- Change of look

Oh dear, it's been a while! Well, I have been incredibly lazy for the last month, but now here is the new look for Dai Dare.

26/02/01 -- Upload time

Well, actually today is my birthday. Just about got over my birthday bash. Groan. Hopefully in a couple of days we can get some screen shotes of the other projects here, and maybe even a demo or two... maybe...

24/02/01 -- Gargle... Birthday drinkie...

Yessiree. Another year, another birthday. Nothing done today apart from drink a lot.... see you soonish....

23/02/01 -- Website coming together.

Yep, it's nearnly all there now. Our website is almost ready to be released. Just about got all we need. This is only really a sample look. Hopefully we will have a rehashed more professional looking site soon. We just wanted to get a base site out on which to show our stuff... Watch this space....
